How to use the OEM saddlebag brackets with a spring seat

Looks pretty good - I like the placement , somewhat in front of the fenders.

That's the so called italian ingenuity...  But actually it's just a question of havin' no more bucks to spend + a lot of mods to do!

Bag looks close to the exhaust...the picture may be deceiving.

It's not really close: the saddlebag stands 2 inches above of the exhaust.

....a little gentle work in a good vice and you could get them closer....but looks good as is. Nice work.

I think I won't get them closer, because I like the way they actually look: it reminds me a horse with the saddlebags...

It runs really good. No backfiring at all, and the bike seems to ride faster since I added it...
And the sound is much, much more tasty: it's like earing a growlin' tiger!

Long story short.
Last night I was messing with my bike, tryin' to find some new solution for my next winter project, when suddenly an idea came to my mind...
With the spring seat on, I'm unable to put any saddlebag on the bike because I've got the OEM brackets (wich are supposed to be good for the OEM seats only - 2up or single one) and I'm still waitin' for the local shop to fab a new pair of brackets... 
Sooo, I tried to use said OEM brackets and guess what? They can!
You just need to flip 'em upside down and then bolt them, by simply using the 2 holes that are made for the OEM seat bracket, as they're of the same width.
See the attached pics, please.
Maybe the final result is not really neat, because the saddlebags are not aligned with the rear fender. But I don't really care, because that solution leaves said fender well in sight...
