If you look in the LINKS area, under MODS... Windshields etc... you will find info on making your own lowers and adapting national cycle lowers. etc. Patterns are there too. I made my original ones and it is pretty easy.

Yes plexiglass, and homemade mounts. Aluminum angle stock from Canadian Tire, couple of small bolts and nuts, and Uncle Bob would be proud.........lol.......

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Are yours the plexiglass ones? I thought about those also. I was hoping to have them installed for the Drift Inn. You have any Pix handy?

CDNRatMan

Uncle Ronny, when you are here in July take a look at mine I had mince from a set of plans for a 1500 from PC and made them fit the 800......really easy......

I really don't know as I bought the bike from a guy in Quebec a few years ago and they came with it. I would hazard a guess and say Fire and Steel maybe? This is what it looks like now.

I don't think they are Fire and Steel. Fire and Steel doesn't clamp onto the frame down tubes.

Hi Rockinrolling, could you please tell me the make of the crash bars fitted to your bike as I have a set fitted to mine and have no idea what make they are

RockinRollin

Any chance you could send me a few photos of your setup? Also would you remember which Harley (make and year) your lowers were for?
I will probably have them powder coated black so any modifications shouldn't be noticeable.

I've had some like that for years... they were originally for a harley. Just need to add a couple of nuts to the windshield setup to make them work.

Once again I am considering which wind deflectors to put on my bike. At the moment I am leaning towards the prefab metal ones.

I have seen this one on Ebay

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/National-Cycle-Lower-Deflectors-Chrome-N762-/272442749812?hash=item3f6eda7374:g:y74AAOSw2xRYbhh~

it states that it will fit the following bikes,

•  1996-2004 Kawasaki VN1500E Vulcan 1500 Classic
•  2000-2002 Kawasaki VN1500L Vulcan Nomad FI
•  2000-2002 Kawasaki VN1500N Vulcan 1500 Classic FI

I have the fire and steel windshield with the brackets.
Anyone know if this would fit A 2000 Drifter 1500?
Also is there any other lowers that would fit our bikes?
