Oh well, I can't remember if I've already told you that, but I think I can take the risk...
Go get ya a 800 Drifter, as soon as you can, because she's a cuuuute bike and a really smooth ridin'! And by the way, looks like Drifters are becoming bikes for connoisseurs only... ;)

I love my swingin' bike!

That and two seats came with it.  I also did not notice right away the tip on the stock set up is the slash.  ;D
I have decided that I will go for an 800 but maybe in a year or so. I would love to ride one!!   8)

I do believe I had maybe 5 rides, twice two up and then the tear down.  I will say the Drifter jack adaptor I bought works well and I feel it is very stable.  I made two aluminum plates from the rubber gaskets outline - under the tank for the float and the pump and let the tank soak with white vinegar in many different positions over three days and the rinsed with distilled water then dried then rinsed with gas. Parts delivered to the painter now and cleanup begins.  Having a struggle cleaning rust spots off the front brake rotor, but the rest is coming along well.  I decided to do break my work up into two phases and save the front fork rebuild with progressive springs, powder coating of forks and lights and what ever I do with h-bars powder and coating of the rims for later when these tires need replacing. New float in route so I can have a gauge.  Leaving with a group of 8 for two weeks of riding in Colorado Friday so the work will wait. New blood enters the Drifter world I hope I do not disappoint.
