I imagine a RH exhaust is extremely hard to find in Sweden.

Don't know, the exhaust was on the bike when I purchased it. I'm going to try the Felpro Honda Civic gaskets when I reassemble it. They fit perfect and look like they will work fine.

Pilgrim, when I had the 1500 set of pipes I put them up here on the site for about a week, and not a bite, I put them on Kijiji and within about 15 mins time I had a lad from Sweden email me and want them, $375.00 for shipping alone.
Old Sir Drifter, sometimes the price of parts makes you want to slap yourself and think really that muh for this......lol......

Pilgrim.....who worked on your exhaust last? and who forgot the gasket...........

Took my RH exhaust off to replace my clutch and the front cylinder didn't have an exhaust gasket  :o may explain the ticking I been hearing lately. Had to order a gasket from the dealership for the cluth cover, mine stuck and tore. Won't be here till next week.. :(  $30 for that gasket.

Can't believe nobody wanted that 1500 RH.

Yeah, gaskets are expensive. I think I had over $50 tied up in gaskets for my fuel pump and sender when I changed them. I guess it could have been alot worse if we had a shop do the work.

I only have the stock 800 and the Roadhouse 800 the 1500 I sent to Sweden, because no one wanted it here.....

Quit hoarding all the exhausts... ;D

Driftwood

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

not a direct fit, the header pipes will have to be modified to make the pipes fit correctly, and then the header pipes along the lower part will be the wrong length.
The attached picture shows
Top set of pipes are a stock 800 system:
Middle set is a Roadhouse serrated heat shield set for a 1500:
lower set is the roadhouse solid heat shield set for a 800,

you can see that the header mounds are not the same I thought I could swap a set and they will be more work then I wanted to even think about......

Will the custom pipes on my '02 800 fit a '99 1500?
