Thanks for the link.

Figures, I'm leaving on the 28th to head out West to ride the Yellowstone area a week prior to attending Sturgis.

Just google'd it but couldn't find what you were referring to.  Tell me more if you can, we love riding up in Canada!

Yes....  You should bring it up to the Canadian Rendezvous and show her off!

Wow what a beautiful machine.  Nice setup. What have you notice so far with the ride and performance compared to your 1500?

What was the market price for that 1500 Drifter beauty you had?

The Chieftain is in Florida so I haven't even seen it yet!  I'm going down in March to pick it up.  I had my nephew go look at it and handle everything for me.

I sold my Drifter for $7,500.   I threw in the addons that I had for it but didn;t install yet (the fuel processor, caddman parts, etc.)

I actually had a few things from my 1st Drifter that I just put on Ebay.  I was holding on to them in case I ever "went back" but I could use the money for a few things I want for the Indian.

Almost new luggage rack

Really nice engine guard

And the driving lights I used

Once those are sold and the guy picks up my Drifter (still in storage), that's it  :-(

Nice! you do know those Indians are allowed at Drift-Ins...

That would be awesome!  The Drifter will always be close to my heart.  I wish I could of afforded to keep it.

Can't argue that's a Beautiful bike...  a "Drifter Tribute" bike, methinks.... ;D

Now, if it were only 2-toned.... LOL ;)

Beautiful new bike!  ;)
I doubt you will ever regret selling your Drifter to get the Indian.
Now if you had bought a Harley...  ???

After much deliberation, I sold my Drifter to someone that really appreciates the bike.  I bought an Indian Chieftain...a bike I've always wanted.    I decided to sell my 2 bikes (the Drifter and Nomad) and just get down to one bike.

Here is my "new", 2014 Chieftain, with 2,600 miles and almost $4k of addons (including a new 2 rider seat).  All I want to do is purchase a quick release sissy bar/rack, have stage 2 performance cams installed (the cat is already gutted and has V&H slip ons) and lastly, purchase a Dynojet Power Vision CX to install a custom map.

The bikes warranty is good till November 2019 so I feel really good about that (I've been notified that I have 2 "updates" to be installed by the dealer already).

The Drifter was the best bike I've ever owned but I'm looking forward to riding the Indian.  We'll see if I made the right decision...
