1999 Drifter Aftermarket Turn Signals

marker lights are the signal lights that are on all the time.......and use a 1157 dual contact bulb.

Just received my order of new OEM rear turn signal mounting parts (rubber grommets, metal sleeve and cap) and the K&S rear turn signals noted above fit perfectly ! So good news there ...

 yes because inside the headlight pod there should be the same three plug connectors and then you have marker lights up front. I wired a set of 1500 signal lights in on the rear of my 800 and just added a common ground wire so I have rear marker lights.

Just got the BikeMaster 262175 front turn signals in and they are 3 wire - so that's good !

That's one of the hardest to find things...
I've been hunting around for it for a loooong time and then, finally, I've got a second hand one that is really in bad shape, so now I'm still workin' to fix it...

   Dude I hunted for a black light bar for a long time and found a chrome one really cheap and it was Fire and Steel (F&S) made for a Drifter, so snapped it up and had it powder coated..... still original to the bike.

These just came in and look extremely close to the originals ... will use some diodes to wiring them up as running lights ..

Got the original front turn signal bar coming and a headlight so it those will get back to stock ..

Would like to add the smaller amber 4" lights and the stock light bar .. any good source in black for those ?

Thanks ! the rubber is a bit cracked but maybe I can get the cheaper aftermarket ones and swap that out ..

  Ok the front signal lights are 3 wire the rear are 2 wire, I took the front signal lights from a 1500 and used them on the rear of my 800 so I have marker lights all around on my bike.
If those have metal housings you can powder coat them, or paint them to be black, be one way to fix that issue and you can have marker lights all around.

 Only thing is that the original front on both the 800 and 1500 is a three wire setup and the front lights are also marker lights.
