Rifle is a great American company.  I've bought one for an 800 last year and another one last month for my 1500 and there made in California to fit the factory curved brackets without fighting the shield and brackets when installing.

I just replaced my factory classic with a taller one from Rifle.  I sit fairly upright so I went with the 22"...with a new gel seat pad it is the perfect height.  I will be listing my original in the classifieds as soon as I get it cleaned up.  Anyone interested will need the mounting hardware but I will include the chrome screws and acorn nuts...

Im using the Kaw FS Drifter windshield. It has chrome trim.

I ordered mine from Rifle .com.   I was able to order black trim by sending them a note on the order page.  I ordered the 202.07 style.

I like the chrome as it flashes at oncoming cars so they know you are there....

Yeah,that is an advantage Ratman. I ride with someone with chrome trim and I never know if his windshield is flashing or if he's flashing his lights to get my attention.

this is mine a F&S and it has a Jrock replacement glass on it, you can simply change the chrome to black with powder coating. I like the chrome as it flashes at oncoming cars so they know you are there....

Trying to pick a windshield...     can you post pics of your bike with the brand of the windshield?  Also, is there anyone out there with a windshield with black trim instead of chrome?
