. . . . .  using my GPS as a speedo ...

I am certainly glad there are no pics of this.   :o

That is OEM from the local dealership, the owner was not around so I got to have a easy time of ordering it. The parts person wanted me to buy a universial one, and that was 3 parts the metal inner part, and then the 2 ends...duh and the cost was almost the same, and so why would I do the extra work...duh, undo the old insert the new and done...duh.....

Not bad at all. Is that OEM or an aftermarket cable? And did you buy it from a stealership or somewhere else?

Ok so today my speedo cable snapped. So this leaves you without self cancelling signal lights and worse thing it leaves you with out a fuel gauge. I solved all the issues with using my GPS as a speedo and distance counter.......Thought I had a able in Edmonton, but they were out of stock the parts girl called around for me to see if we could find one but after a 2 hour search I said forget it and will try again in another town on the trip home......

I will wait till I get home and price it out because both those are over $40.00 when you add the shipping fee in to it.Right no the GPS will get me home

Ratman, the eBay site says $17.09 and free shipping. I don't know about the quality but you won't beat that price pretty sure

If the casing is still good, you can try one of these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motion-Pro-01-0107-Speedometer-Inner-Wire-Cable-Repair-Kit-50-in-/381505397232?hash=item58d37e61f0:g:9HEAAOSwoudW-uLI&vxp=mtr
