And welcome aboard...

I love my swingin' bike!

Yes you need to get it ready for WI and Coulee Cruzin' in July.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Thanks so much all, greatly appreciate it.  And really looking forward to getting into this bike (and for that matter, just getting it)!

Welcome and nice looking ride, kind of biased though.
Quirky group here, but they all get along for the most part.... :D
I'm just across the creek.  Was over on Sunday. Went out to Zukey Lake Tavern in Pinckney.
Was a nice ride and great food.

Greetings...

I have been riding for some 30+ years now, and have a handful of bikes.  I've been pondering a cruiser for the last year or so, something interesting, not outrageously expensive and NOT the usual suspects.  I have always loved the Drifter, and ran across a '99 1500 with a little over 6K on the clock and looks to be in perfect shape.  I HAD TO HAVE IT.  I say looks to be as it is being shipped and should be here in the next couple of days.  I'm a little too old to say I'm stoked but, well, I'm stoked.  :)

I like to do all my own work (along with tinkering and futzing), and it's always wise to seek out those that know more about a bike than I do.  I've been lurking about here for a little while now, and this looks like a great group, and there's tons of useful info.

Thanks!

Robert
