I'll look to see if I can find where I got them...and better yet, I THINK I made a tracing  of one of them before I put my bags on..both are the same of course.. lol
They both bolt to the two chrome (10M) bolts on the bottom of the factory single seat as shown in an earlier picture.

Keep at me with threatening and harassing mail to get me to find the stuff ..I'm busy and slack and the poster boy for Procrastination !

I would , too.  if someone is willing to take a set of those, trace them out on paper and send them to me, I bet I can have them made for half that cost...including powder-coating.....i could even have multiple sets made so others can get them from me (at cost + shipping)....since it doesn't seem like anyone else is making them anymore...

I'm still waiting for Scootworks to let me know when they will have theirs in stock. Looks like they forgot about me..  LOL
Since I shouldn't get any satisfaction out of Scootworks, I ordered the ones I have now for less that half the price and they fitted perfectly !  Others have made their own!

These were $99.00 AND sent the next day!

No ship date yet....if I don't get a reply with a tracking number by tomorrow, I will charge back on my card.  Lot's of very negative reviews on yelp and other sites for Scootworks....how do these people stay in business...if I ran my business that way, I would be long gone and digging ditches somewhere.....

on another note...I have a set of mounts and loops for the 800 double up seat....If I don't get the ones I ordered from Dave, I will use these as a template and have some fabricated.  I do business with one of the largest custom equipment fabricators in the Western US.  they can CAD something out fast and computer laser cut 1/8 inch steel like a hot knife through butter.  I just need a good template to work with...I may take the bike over and have them design it from there....

Thanks Trall for the reminder...I have seen the discussions regarding them and I brought up some of the points with Dave.  he assured me that they have them in stock and are shipping them out over the next few days.  I emailed Osprey about the others and they replied that there are no more in stock and they will not be making any more.  So, solo seat 800 drifter riders are very limited on saddlebag mounting options from here on out.  if the ones I have ordered don't arrive in a timely fashion, I can do a charge back as well.  I have a machine shop nearby that I work with on a regular basis with my business, so I can always have something similar fabricated and powder coated but I would need something to reference them to.  They are not cheap, though....If I have to go that route, I will get a cost and update this forum.  I really like the mounting system of the scootworks set, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they come through.  On another note, can anyone tell me which EasyBrackets would work (holes lining up correctly) with the scootworks mounts?  I would like to detach the saddlebags quickly when stopping.  thanks in advance.

new drifter 800 owner here.  did a lot of research on trying to get saddlebag mounts for my 2001  solo seat.  on a whim, I emailed scootworks today and got a reply from Dave.  They were in the process of filling and shipping out all backorders (were working late into the night tonight).  they had 3 sets left over on a first come first serve basis.  He actually called me on my cell to see if I wanted one.  I ordered them today....we will see how long they take to arrive..anyway, there may be still a couple of sets available....when they arrive, I will add some pics.

regards to all for the information provided on these forums....I am new to drifters (not to riding, though) and my purchase was done based upon looks (of course...wanted something different from everything else) and the support I see here in the many discussions.  I look forward to share thoughts and ideas with other drifter riders in the future.

I would urge caution and buyer beware when dealing with Scootworks.  I paid and ordered that same set back in Dec. 2015 and Until April 2016  got nothing but delay and excuse and more excuses and never got my solo seat scootwork's brackets.  If you google their name, you will see a zillion BBB bad complaints.  I had to file a Credit card dispute and got my money back.  I hope you get what you ordered but I am never dealing with that company for anything.

I ordered a new perfect set from Osprey for $100 with S/H that mount to your solo stock seat, if you have a corbin solo ask them for the spacers you will need and the brackets bolt up to the  4 seat bolts to add or remove the brackets,  Takes me 5 min to add or remove them as needed. Also got them same week ordered. If scootworks does not work out call Osprey saddle works on the phone to see if they have more in stock

I really liked the SW model of mounts --  So I built a set very similar to theirs for my 800.  I really liked them. Sold them with the 2-up Corbin when I switched it to solo.

I guess one thing to keep in mind on these bikes is do you want saddlebags to travel with the rear fender (swing arm) or stay with the rest of the frame?  My other bike (Valkyrie) has large hard bags, and the rear fender of course doesn't travel with the rear swing arm like a Drifter 800.  Just thinking out loud, seems better for the bags not to swing up and down with the rear fender but stay with the seat and all.  My swing arm bag, as well as my tailbag, of course both travel up and down with the monoshock, and that's right for what they are, but saddlebags are different IMO.

Yeah OK thanks. I was just toying with the idea of saddlebags on my bike but looks like too much trouble. I already have a swingarm bag on one side – that would have to come off – and don't really want brackets coming off of my seat to mount saddlebags.  I'll just stick with the current configuration which is a tail bag and swingarm bag.

Yeah, you're wrong...
I think those loops fit just the Kawa Vulcan Classic's and not the Drifter's: before I got the OEM loops (BTW, many thanx to Troll that sold me his spare ones...), I came across a pair like those on ebay and found out that they've got a different hole spacing.

I did not, but they sure need the brackets that attach to the seat, even though they look quite different from the OEM ones.
