Its been around a while.  Surprised no 800 Drifter guru had installed one.

Kuryakyn has not replied to any specifics on a 800 Drifter install.  But you definitely need to rejet and can not use stock pipes.  Mine would have V&H Cruzers.

I have not installed a Corsair--- I grampsized my 800.  But from looking at a picture of the corsair (I had not heard of them prior to this post), looks like you would just remove all the air intake stuff from the bike (the stuff that requires modification for the grampsize mod - backing plate etc.) and bolt on the corsair.  Of course, there may be more to it than that.. YMMV....   Did you try looking up directions from Kuryakyn?

One more thing - I'm almost sure you would need to re-jet the carb, similar to the grampsize mod.

Ive read thru all of Wolf's great info and a lot more on Grampsizing the air intake but... anyone with a 800 that has installed a KA-9862 Kuryaykn Corsair and with a step by step install?
