I see a few post on this forum about Aircleaner mods.  As long as the out side diameter of the filter element is covered, your good to go.  You could use a dinner plate with one hole for the allen bolt, as long as it secures and seals the filter element.  Any aircleaner cover will fit. For example here is one that take just a few minutes to do.   Go to any auto parts store and buy a chrome licence plate insert.   They come with many different styles. Skulls, rams,snakes,crosses  etc....   remove from plate.  Drill small diameter hole in center,  Take your stock allen bolt to a hardware store and ask for a half or inch longer one. [Cost about a buck]  Add a little loctite and run bolt thru "skull' or whatever.  Quick unique aircleaner and easy to put back stock.  I did one on both Covers.  Always get asked Hey, where did you get the custom covers???
