I see a lot of posts  for a better seat or lower seat.  Here's my low cost alternative.  looks like it was made for bike and with simple skills and tools anybody could do.  Call your local Bike shop or go to a swap meet.  Any comfortable solo will work. I used an old Mustang 2up seat for a FLH.    This works very well and added bonus you may be able to purchase very cheaply since they tend to wear on parts of the seat we are not going to use and the seller can't expect much for a 'worn' seat.

Make sure the seat has a upholstered 'gap' between the front and rear seat.  Carefully cut the seat in two making sure you leave extra material from the rear seat.  file or sand the plastic smooth and then take the extra seat leather and roll and tuck under the seat. use waterproof adhesive and some pop rivets to attach to seat pan.  at the front of the seat you will carefully cut out the plastic 'Tank cover' and the roll the remaining leather under the front and attach in same fashion as the back.  this not only removes the usual 'worn' part that enabled you to buy seat cheap, But the width of the front part match's the size of your tank perfectly!   Cut a piece of scrap aluminum or any stiff metal will do.  Make an cardboard or aluminum foil template to get the proper bend and fitment for front attachment point. make bracket, pop rivet to seat. [see photo]     Place seat on bike and mark carefully where the rear frame bracket matches the seat.  Take a piece of flat stock and drill hole in center for seat bolt to pass thru.  Weld or glue bolt to bracket [i used an already made Harley hardbag bracket that had a bolt already attached, swap meet again!]  align carefully and pop-rivet to rear of seat pan.   Drill hole in rear frame bracket,,,mount seat, add nut, and done!
