 Not sure why but most times when people use a phone the pictures come out on their side or upside down.

I have my risers behind my windscreen and you do not even know that they are there. I just found I could not use a windscreen bag anymore as the flap is in the way of the risers or the risers are in the way of the flap. But I sure like the feel of the bars and how I am sitting now.

I don't like the way they look either.  Too close together.  I know it's the same hole as stock, but he height just makes it look weird.

   Hate to say I bought those black ones from a lad who had his own bike repair shop here in town and then he had a long bitter fight with cancer and sold everything off. I scored these from him, and had them powder coated and really liked the height and pull back on them and they give me the perfect position for my way of riding. I never did learn what the brand was or were he got them, and there is no makings on them

I like those black ones.  Seems like most folks that have risers also have wins shield that "hide" the risers themselves.  I have a small windshield I may put back on to see how I like it with the risers.

I didn't just go for a very short ride and I really like the new feel.  I feel like I have more control and it is way more comfortable.  I'm very pleased!

ok I had a choice of these 2 styles of risers and went with the black set.

I tried that, but the tension was such that I couldn't get it out of the lever.  Saw a good video from Revzilla that showed a repair on a clutch cable on a Harley.  So I finally got everything done and I believe put back in the right place.  But I have a little concern about the actual cable up by the lever.  I may end up just getting a new cable all together and trying to replace the current one.

If you could, do you have pictures of your bike with an up close of the risers?  I'd like to see them on someone else's bike.

  When I added my risers I just undid the clutch at the lever and did not touch it anyplace else. Then replaced it once I did the re routing and is done and working fine. Once we see the pictures we might be able to help you out.

Hahaha!!!  Oh, it happened!!!  I got the banged up knuckles and smudged chrome to prove it.  But I will try and get some pictures up this evening when I get home.

So I settled on the phatrisers II polished aluminum because after reading some things here I wasn't sure I'd ever get the chrome ones in because they didn't have any in stock and they were 4 weeks out.  I got them last night and put them on.  Impressions:

First the bad.  I don't really like the look of them (the finish) or the way the front of my bike looks with the wires running behind the triple tree.  All you can see are the great big risers.  It took me a long time and what I hope wasn't too much stress on the clutch cable to get all of the cables rerouted.  I ended up having to take off my lower exhaust which meant taking off my right floor board just to be able to get to all of the clutch bolts.  It was certainly more than I bargained for and again, I hope my clutch is in proper order and doesn't snap on me down the road.  Although, admittedly, I wasn't getting much info out of my service manual and I didn't really know what I was doing until I later found a video on youtube that helped tremendously.  My first experience messing with the clutch.

All that being said, I think I'm going to really like the feel of where the bars are at now and I think it will really help with my back/neck problems that I have when riding.  The new feel is certainly going to take some getting used to.  If I decide I'm not happy with the new feel, the risers will be for sale at discount price and I'll list them here first.

Not terribly impressed with scootworks customer service, although the risers shipped to me fast once Dave acknowledged I was placing my final order and I sent a follow up email a few days later wanting to know if they had shipped or not.

Yeah, and they're solid rock and can be used as passenger's pegs...
Now I've installed a pair of F&S black passenger's floorboards, so I'm just scratchin' my head since that they don't allow me to put on the rear guards...

I do agree with Mr. Ratty: you'd better keep that rear guards with the bike...
They really add a retro-look style... maybe you should paint them black, so to match with the backrest (just my 2 cents...).
I've bought a Ted's pair of black rear guards for a few bucks (please, look at my gallery: pics n.3-6) and I'm really glad I did it just in time: now they're absolutely out of stock!

The seat is not a OEM seat fort he bike, it almost looks like the Corbin seat I shipped to Nanook a few years back.  The backrest does look like a homemade custom job. The rear engine guards were available there a few places, but are now another hard to find item, Ted in the US, and Malcolm in the UK were both making them for people but I am sure both have retired from that line.
Just my 2 cents worth I would hang on to the guards as they are hard to find, when you can add a front engine guard for your foot pegs, I had a local lad re do my seat for me with gel and memory foam and cost me less then $300.00 to be done and it is super comfy now.

Guess I've got an unusual seat and unusual back guards!   The seat very well may be a combination stock/homemade setup.  She didn't indicate that at the time.  It certainly looks like Pastor's oem seat.  I bought the bike from a guy named Rocco who lives in Mass.  Worked for Indian and had my bike set up to look the way it does.  I've only put the 2 up on it and the Hard Krome pipes.  Don't know where he got the guard set.  I could ask him...we're still in touch.

That 2up backrest looks like a modified stock part.  This is a pic of my bike right after I first got it (many moons ago), and you can see the stock grab bar on it.  Looking at the base of your backrest, it looks the same.

I would love to get by without buying a new bar, but I think ultimately, that's gonna be the best setup.  I'm going to wait until I get my risers and get those on to make any final judgement.  I guess I could look at selling the other bars, but I don't mind them. I asked my wife if they got in her way and she said no.  Guess it just looks uncomfortable to me.

As for the seat, I bought it from a lady in Texas after I purchased my bike.  It came with a nice solo, but I wanted something to put the bride on.  She advertised it as an oem stock two up and it fits like a glove.  It was a little rough and I had to get one of those leather repair kits to touch it up.  But it has been good for me until I can save the money for a nice new seat.  Here are more pics.
