The gentleman is from NJ.

Some people had good luck dealing with him but on 2 items the heat shields, I made no head way and then the front engine guard he wanted almost twice the cost it was from Belgium, and he bought it from Guido and was charging me double the price and a shipping rate I could have had PC shipped here for that price.

Malcolm is the gentleman's name and he is really a pleasant person to deal with, he is really busy, right now after the New Year he will be pressing out some spoke covers, rectifier covers and front hub covers.
This is him and his bike.....

like the dude I was trying to get the serrated heat shields from.....dozens of e mails and something like 8 phone calls and nothing from him but promises. Really glad I never sent any money his way.

I think Stark (or the tip manufacturer) sold a whole bunch of those tips to a fella who sells them on Ebay as "genuine Drifter" fender tips ..... at a higher price, of course...... Buyer Beware....

I bought mine on ebay, at the inflated price. Fits really nice, I like it. I realized after I had gotten it what I had actually purchased.... actually had mfg part number on the original box, marked out with magic marker (did you know brake-clean will clean off magic marker??) I figured it was my own fault, and I liked them, so I kept it. Live and learn.....

The tip looks pretty great up front there and good protection. It looks like your is pretty flush fit and Ive seen some with a 1/4" drop in front. Looks good either way.

BTW, have you got any side view pic of your bike?
I'm gonna make my own solo seat, but I'd also like to keep on the 2-up bracket (as your bike does, if I'm not mistakin') so to be able to add a second seat, in case my wife aks me to ride together.
So, I'd really like to see and realize how it could be...

Yea those are the best front tip out there that I could find and like. I heard there not a perfect fit for the Drifter but very close and the best option and quality piece out there that you can buy. I also seen a lot of google pics of them on Drifters so they must fit pretty good. The starlight company is a great company so no issues if ordering from them, there also on eBay.

Hello All Riders......Just to let you know I came across one of these fender tips and installed it on my Drifter 800....It fits reasonably well for a bolt on. You might find that it sets off that plain front fender just fine, I've tried some other fender tips and this one looked the best for a repro, no point in trying to get an original for our clone bikes...Merry Christmas All....KEN.
