Thanks Troll. I'll have to check w/ my favorite parts lady at my dealer to check fitmant unless someone else can help out. My '99 does not have that cover. It is open, maybe an attempt by Kaw to hearken back a little.

My '01 1500 has a chrome cover with a black surround on the left side, I believe this is the same cover on all the 1500 Vulcans. They show up on eBay now and again. I've seen the price on these vary an enormous amount.  You can check part numbers at http://www.bikebandit.com

Is there a side cover available to cover up the clutch slave cylinder area? Kinda like the primary cover on a HD.
