With that much weight, and bouncing around, the OP must have added some sort of inner bracing.

Yeah I haven't taken that close a look at it yet, but I believe that you're right- there's some bracing.  I mean really it's a plastic fender.  There's got to be some bracing or what's the point in putting it on.

TFrank59 that is one big rack you have...I don't think I have ever seen one that large. Now if you put a taller bag on and go for a bumpy road it could give you a massage...........

You know it will be for decoration only, right?  That plastic rear fender can't hold over 10 pounds, and anything on the rack would be well shaken after a ride on that fender.

Well mine is not just for decoration, and it can hold well over 10 pounds.  Check out the pics on my gallery. I doubt that rack is available anymore, like I said I don't know where the previous owner got it.  The only issue with it is of course that it travels up-and-down with the fender so that's a little bit weird, but I don't care it works OK.  I'm sure I've had 30 or so pounds in the tailbag that's mounted on it plus I've had a helmet mounted to the rack behind that, and the fender wasn't stressed as far as I could tell.

Remember, most cruiser bikes have about the same sized fenders with about the same curvature, give or take a little.  With a little persuasion, most anything made for a cruiser fender can be made to work, regardless of it's original intended purpose.  I know that with some slight modifying, the solo seat rail from a Yamaha fits a Drifter 1500.  Heck, I run around with an old Harley shovelhead tour pack, mated to a modern Harley wraparound backrest, on my Drifter every day.

Guys I remember Seeing a Rear fender rake that was curved and placed on the top of the rear fender. Anyone seen this as well? And where can I get it. Thanks

you mean like the one on my bike   PO put it on there and glad he did, but don't know where he got it.
