80° on Sunday, 38° today....supposed to be frost tonight! I hate this time of year!

     Well woke to frost all over the truck and thick on the grass......forecast for Sunday is calling for snow........

OH YOU GUYS JUST STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!
We hit 95 again today.  I'm sick of it!  It's been too hot for too long here! and DRY!  All that rain we had in the Spring, all that flooding.  Garden drowned.  Fruit trees Drowned.  Now I've got to replace them and we can't buy a drop of rain!  This Summer has been brutal here.  I'm ready for fall.  I'm ready to go camping and it be cool enough at night to be able to sleep.

Okay, rant over.  Actually it's been nice in the mornings, low 60s and upper 50s.  The days still get hot.  Usually, 90-93, 94 isn't bad when riding, that is moving.  Especially on our shaded country roads.  But we just haven't had any relief since the end of June.  I envy you guys now, but we'll check back in January or February.   Meanwhile....ride on!

We got up to a whopping 40*F today.....went grouse hunting in the Jeep. Jeeping is the next best thing to riding...... except I have about 50 pounds of backwoods mud to wash off and out from under it now....

Yeah, I was out riding most of the day today too.  One of the last days this year to ride without a jacket!

  Good for you we managed to reach a high of 55*F today......

   Got out of "homework" for a little recreation...stretched a 160 mile ride into 210...didn't quite make my mileage goal (I changed it about a month ago) yet, but real soon! AND--I rode 205 miles on a single tank of gas.....speeds between 55 at 70.
