Best Replacement Mono Shock

I used an off the shelf system, but some of the parts weren't quite right. They said they sent the wrong part, but who knows. All that needed work was enlarging a hole slightly, and then buying a longer bolt. Beyond that, there were some custom additions like a pressure gauge and a shutoff valve to protect the gauge when riding.

If you want the most adjustability, there is also air ride. I use it on my bike and it's awesome. But it's not for everyone. If you want simple, I'd go with progressive. They're kind of the gold standard for these bikes.

  I went with the progressive shock and am really happy, super easy install and getting the preload and sag was really easy.

This seems like it should be a simple question. I'm looking for opinions on who makes the best aftermarket shock replacement for the Drifter 800.

Since I'm switching to a two-up saddle and will be carrying passengers, I need something that can handle the load (not to mention I'm not the lightest person the the planet either).

I did double check the shock on the bike and the preload was already all the way at 7.
