  Welcome stein69, and before you get hammered and bothered by certain unsavory characters who hang about here you should get Jade's picture into your gallery and let them see her, it will bother them to no end if you get them in before they can ask for them.....

   So I have been riding my '01 1500 through three sets of tires, two sets of brakes, triple tree bearings, one rectifier and a shit load of gas. For 15 years this bike has been through thick and thin with me and it's only getting harder on the poor girl! She's an out door beast. She comes in when I don't want to get wet working on her. She's been from Panama City, FL to Boston, MA and only dropped twice (my wife thought she looked too good leaning on her kick stand one night) lol. I've named her Jade because she has been a bitch since she was uncrated. I was left stranded for 4 hours because that dang clutch switch was loose and wouldn't let the bike start. That was the second day I had her. My Drifter! Never a chief, never anything but a good solid import and she always had a charging problem. You'll see my post about that in a bit. I just want to introduce her to you guys since she will reap the benefits of all your knowledge and help which I thank you for.
Jade has the fire and steel triple beam headlights, longshot exhaust (minus baffles), national windshield, solo(preferred), 2up seat and nothing else aftermarket.
