I have been trying to sort out a drilled rotor for the front of my 99 800 for the past couple years. I did not want to spend the funds on a new one so been looking and here is the issue I found.
The 99 800 was not available in the US so seems to be a issue with the parts numbers and this list is from Partzilla:
1999 Drifter 800 = 41080-0060 / 41080-1458
1998 Classic 800 = 41080-0129 / 41080-1415
2005 Drifter 800 = 41080-0129 / 41080-0018

So couple days ago I talked to a old parts guy at the Honda shop, and he told me to find a EBC parts catalog and use it. So we got theirs and looked up the Drifter 800, and from 99 to 06 they use the same part number for the OME the plain non drilled rotor, Then under Classic they use the same part # for the OME for the drilled rotor, so I picked up a 05 Classic Rotor and it is drilled and I will be installing it as a winter project.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

The first topic in our project series is BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS.

I currently have the oem rotor and will be replacing that with an EBC rotor. The Drifter 800 and 1500 uses the same rotor, and is compatible with rotors from a Classic.

ROTORS:
EBC

- Front: MD4125LS

- Rear: MD4148 - Note: This rotor is made of billet steel and cannot use fully sintered pads. EBC says to use their partially sintered or organic pads.

This picture may not be correct... I haven't seen one in person and they look different on various sites.

Brake Pads:
EBC:

Front:                                 Rear:
Organic            - FA229        FA231
Partial Sintered - FA229V      FA231V
Sintered           - FA229HH    FA231HH (Can't be used with the EBC Rotor MD4148).
