Hey Joe, I know what you mean about handling better. My 1999 Drifter is about 200lbs lighter than my previous ride and I have a year on you! Ride safe bro!

   Welcome, I see a couple of the picture hounds have been all over you already. Were in KY? You missed Drift In in Pikeville, Was a good time. You could make next years Drift In or do one of the regional rallys one in WI and one in PA. So perhaps we shall met. Take care.

BTW, as probably lots of this forum members will soon tell ya, you'd better post pics of your Drifter!! ;)

Hello everyone, just purchased a 2003 Drifter 2 weeks ago, was lurking on the forum before then. Really like the bike. Also have a Royal Star Tour Deluxe. I can handle the Drifter a lot better ( 125 lbs lighter) than the rstd. Of course 64 yrs. old doesn't help things.  Joe
