Next week Heidi and I will be heading to Pikeville to complete organizing for Drift-In 2015.
We are extremely excited to host and wish everyone who attends safe travels.
We have worked all year to make this the best time possible.
We are very fortunate to have some new attendees this year along with regulars, however there are some regulars who will not be with us.
You will note there will be a couple of changes this year that we are excited to present.
The Pikeville area is very excited about our being there and have been looking forward to it.
With the new people and new interest in the Drift-In, it is our hope that this Drift-In, as the past Drift-Ins will inspire the future health of this reunion.
There are many things Heidi and I have learned this past year 1 of which is not being motorcycle specific opens avenues of discussions with very interesting and fascinating people who Drift throughout the countryside on their choice of motorcycle only to ride, enjoy and Drift-In to a destination possibly unknown when leaving home.
It becomes their very own little Drift-In.
Please, let us embrace our fellow riders ,whatever they ride, and make new friendships, renew old friendships and remember those who are not with us.
As you know this Drift-In is being dedicated to Danny"Hillbilly"Taylor.
I for 1 will miss Hillbilly and I will not be ashamed in any way to shed a tear.
My respect for Hillbilly will live on and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Him will understand when I say Hillbilly ' s presence will be GREATLY MISSED!
