Aside from the Slingshot being a butt-ugly ride, apparently it is 2" wider than a new Corvette.

If I was in the market for one of these, it would either be a T-Rex or a Morgan.....that slingshot is just FUGLY!!!!

Morgans are so very very cool, but SUPER expensive.

When you think about it, the Can Am config makes sense for handling and stability, if you're going the trike route.

Kind of like riding a 4-wheeler but smoother ride.

I can't say the styling appeals to me, or the 3 wheels part, but I can still see why they're popular. I've heard they're pretty fun if you go into it not trying to compare it to a motorcycle, and not trying to make it one.

My local dealership is having a demo ride thingy on the 23rd. I don't want one, but, since they invited me, I signed up...

A very viable way to go once you can  not balance or hold up a 2 wheeler.......they are very popular in this area.

So, today, in Prince George, about 2 hours south, BRP (Can am Spyder) was holding test rides on the Spyder, so a buddy and I signed up. I've never had the urge to own one, but always wanted to try one just to see what they're all about. Very smooth ride, scads of get-up-and-go, new styling, new colors, and very different handling. On rough road, much better handling tan my Harley trike, and much easier steering. The one I was on is the RT, the touring model, built in bags and trunk, on the go adjustable windshield, stereo, cruise, semi-auto transmission; a shifter paddle on the left grip, don't even let off the throttle to shift. Similar the the push-button shifters used on drag bikes.

Still like my Drifter better...... :D
