I got mine on Ebay too.  I got the black version though, for the black-ed out bike...  I got a different lense too...

So you going to start a new project next summer?

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Wow, I hope to be able to do something half that ambitious when I'm that old!

My Dads last project, which he, sadly, had to give up on and sell, was a '30 Model A Tudor. The taillight lens was clear; the color had all faded away to nothing. So, I brought it home, cleaned all the mung off it, and put about 5 coats of transparent red paint(the stuff for taillights) it looked new. He started that project when he was 86. Guess there may be a few builds left in this old carcass...... ;)

This is a 1930, according to the owner.   We're going all through the brakes and such, oil change, new plugs, check it all over, etc.   It needs 4 tires, but we'll see what he wants to do....

I knew you'd get that one... :)

Here's the car, sitting out by my '66 Ford, which I haven't touched yet...

The Model A belongs to a customer;  it's been in his family a long time.  He said his mother bought it some time ago.  I think he has just gotten possession of it recently.  It has sat for several years.  Fuel tank was all dirty, no spark, etc.   Took all of about an hour to get running...   If everything were that simple :)

Here's the single tail light on the "A"...    Looks like a good tail light for a bike project.... more on that later....
I put one on the W...with the upper portion engraved with STOP...

It's a '28-'31 Model A, though I'm not well versed enough to narrow it down more then that.  1927 was the last of the model T's, and the '32 Ford had a distinctly different grill shell.

You might want to pull and lube all the brake rods and shafts if it has sat for a long time; those mechanical brakes need all the help and encouragement they can get... btw what year is it?

We run an automotive repair shop, and from time to time, we get some really interesting stuff to work on.  I thought I'd share some of it with you...   See if anyone out there knows what this is....    I'm guessing Troll and 49 are the only ones old enough to remember these....

Hint:  The blue spots on the second one is a "spark"
