I have had a Handy air-lift model for many years. Just 'up-graded' my wheel vice,much better.

I have no complaints,but will suggest which ever you decide on?...get the drop out panel in the back for rear wheel removal. Mine does not have that, & I wish it did. Also look into a good aux. sissors jack for lifting the motorcycle,once on the table. And some good tie-down straps......be kind to your back

On my Nomad I have a 150/80-16. Now that you mention it, I had to take the cradle off and beat it with a large freakin' hammer to make it large enough to accept my tire. That stand/chock is supposed to be good for a tire up to 130 wide. Once I had it wide enough my Nomad goes right on. What I am calling the cradle is the part that rotates and holds the tire in place from behind the tire.

I picked up the wheel chock (97841) last year and can't get the bike to sit correctly in it, I'm curious on what size tires you have on your bike?

I have the Harbor Freight manual lift that is good to 1000 lbs., item # 91764 that lists for $499.99 They often have this on sale for $299.99. I bought mine and paid $298.00 with the extended 2 year warranty. My brother gave me a Harbor Freight wheel chock, item #97841 for doing some maintenance on his bike. I mounted the wheel chock on the lift and man does it work slick. I drive right up on it and can easily dismount without worrying about my Nomad falling over. I have had it for about a year and am very happy with the set-up. I have not had a chance to get my Drifter on the lift yet because it is still at my work shop. Good luck with whatever you get.

I've always thought that it'd be nice to hoist mine from the headset and rear seat frame.  Block and tackle and up she goes.

My brother has a nice one from Harbor freight, his is the air lift one not manual.  I think the rating is 1200 ibs.  Nice unit, check out their web site.  Good Luck     Tom

Yeah, I have a bunch listed over on the web site but have never used one and was trying to get some opinions.

I believe Harbor frieght has acouple differant models that are pretty reasonable, the only thing is I'm not sure about  the load limits on them .

Any of you guys use a lift table? Any suggestions on brand/model/type? Any deals out there?  I'm gonna break down and get one. I'm tired of rolling around on the floor in my shop. I have some really nice floors - nice and warm in winter, but I'm getting too damn old and lazy to roll around - even on my creeper.
