I retired at Christmas 2014, and as a present to myself acquired an 800 Drifter of 2002 vintage in Black Pearl livery; it was imported from California.

I was a biker from my school days, doing most miles on a '51 BSA Golden Flash and a '76 T140V Bonneville - 100 000 miles between them. I've returned to biking after a lengthy break caused by the usual stuff, career and kids, so I'm one of those born-again biker types.

Like a couple of other bods on this forum, I also contribute to the VDOG UK forum.

When I've found out how to upload a picture I'll post one of my bike.
