It depends on it when the tyres were produced. Tyres older than 5 years may not be normally. She does not become porous and inflexibly which one can see.

I'd say to get the miles you can out of them if you like them.  Just keep an eye out for cupping (handle bars will get some shimmy in them, especially around 40-45mph).  When you do change out, I'd step up from the Stones in performance.  I recently switched to Conti Milestone WW and besides the change in looks, the change in performance was rather dramatic.

I replaced mine with about 1000 miles on them - for wide white walls... LOL...

If you are happy with them and they are in good shape, run them till the tread tells you its time for new ones. IMHO

Hi, guys. This is my first post for my first Drifter. My bike has about 6000 miles on it but is going on 5 years old. How long should stick with the original Bridgestones? They look okay and ride fine. Just looking for some opinions. BTW, mine is a 1500.
