Hey thanks!
I bought the lowers on this site from member "greenbarn".  You might want to write him and ask.   He was extremely helpful leading up to the purchase and they bolted right up and look new.   I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything from him.

Awesome looking bling for the bike, I was under the impression that there were no lowers that would fit on this bike, could you tell me where you got these lowers? Are they made for the drifter or did you modify them to fit?

It was on the bike when I bought it. As far as I know it's that same old F&S problem...no longer available. Seems to me Ratman found one a couple of years ago on eBay...happy hunting

Been working on this for a while. I would post a before pic, but we all know what it looks like, so here's the "after" Had a guy at a trophy shop make it. cost me $10...Now that I know , I'd maybe do things a little differently, but for now, this is really a "custom" part

Nice!  Love custom work.

I've been looking all over for the speedo visor which looks fantastic!   Any idea where one could be found?

Looking good man... that's my favorite stock color combo with chrome.  The Indian stuff isn't my style, but you make it look sharp!

I think you answered your own question ... Microsoft!  LOL!      Reminds me of the old joke, "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck will be the day that Microsoft decides to manufacture vacuum cleaners..."

You're absolutely right, GB; but I'd like the same to have one of those Indian beauties (together with my Drifter)... 8)

I love my swingin' bike!

My brother and I took a ~10hr ride yesterday all over including the Wellesly Island, Clayton and Cape Vincent up at the 1000 Islands.
We stopped at my Uncles Park (Island Shadows) to show him the bike and he was just in awe of it.  He told me to hang on and came back out with a picture of him as a kid on his Indian!   he then went around comparing it to his and told me how he had to stand on the kick start with both feet, how the throttle did not "snap back" so it was effectively used as a cruise control, how the seat was "the rear shocks", etc., etc.

And of course, on the way home, I got several compliments when stopping for gas and a quite a few stares a few "thumbs up" when pulling alongside cars and a couple groups of bikers.

I'll bet he wishes he still had that Indian....    But in honesty, I think the Drifters look about as cool as they did.

Ehy Bambam, I guess your uncle told you what happened to his Indian: I mean, does he still got the bike or what?
I'd pay a fortune to ensure that one of my parents still had such a wonderful bike like that!

I am thinking of taking the Cape Vincent ferry over to Wolfe Island on my ride back from Drift In. Then spend a few days in Kingston to visit my sister.

I'll be in Kingston on the weekend of the 5 - 7 June for the Annual ride For Dad. You should check that out....

Thanks for the heads up!   I will definitely check it out!

The seat

I like what you did with the seat fringe though I'm not sure how you get it to stand up like that  ;D

Seriously though, it looks good!  Is it just a 'glue on' piece of fringe?

EDIT: Ooops, I see you've already answered my question.

Bambam, I didn't think they were still making those fender ornaments.  I've been wanting one to match my tank emblems.  Did you get that recently?

I was lucky enough to find a brand new set last year.
