275/60/15 will fit, but you're real close to the fender lip at that point.  Some gentle "persuading" to the inside lip edge will add some breathing room.  But this is a motorcycle forum, not really a Mopar forum.

im trying to figure out what is the biggest tire i can fit in the rear of my 66 coronet and i was wondering what you guys have used.
i know a 255/60 r15 will fit. but i think a 275/60 r15 will fit. im using an 8 wide steel wheel with 4 1/2 of back spacing. what do you guys think will it work or have any of you guys used them??
