I wanted to do the same on my VN800E1 but to be honest, there really isnt room to run dual pipes (one on each side) on the 800 Drifter like there is on the 1500 Drifter.

Your best bet since you say you are not mechanically inclined, would be to go to a custom bike shop, or a good fabricator, and have something built. You will want to make sure clearances are correct, so suspension travel etc does not interfere with pipes. EBay is another good place; sometimes pipes show up on there. Good luck, keep us posted; we all enjoy seeing mods to bikes.

Nowadays you have to adapt pipes for another model. There aren't any bolt-ons unless you get a set already modified by another user.

Hello I have a 2002 drifter 800 I would like to put dual fishtail exhaust on my bike not sure how to go about running a pipe on each side what part would be necessary also being that I'm not mechanically inclined at all I am Not sure what size pipes I would need to buy if I was to purchase them online as I do not want to purchase the incorrect pipes.if it is not possible for me to put a pipe on each side would it be possible and what lengths to put 2 fishtail on the same side and would I need to have the carbs jetted any and all information would be greatly appreciated thank you
