I'm kind of on the border of the Midwest and the Great Lakes regions.  Some people also refer to here as the Heartland.  I live at the red dot just north east of Indianapolis (at the center of the map) on this map.

CDNRatMan

PC please forgive my ignorance about certain Americanisms, but do you live in what is called the US Midwest?

I probably get as many miles in the rain as in the dry....my hide is waterproof, so I know I ain't gonna fill up with water and founder......miles in the saddle are miles in the saddle. I'll take 'em anyway I can get 'em.....

That's why a frog's butt is water tight!

Throw it in the dryer and you'll be fresh as a daisy in the morning!

That's not the first biker bath any of us have taken, and it won't be the last!

Rob, I just like to tease Ratman and 49.  I know they get a ton of riding in and they aren't afraid of a little rain or something.  Besides, Ratman knows for a fact he's not made of sugar, so he won't melt if he gets wet.

CDNRatMan

  Rob:
like a lot of the lads at work who do not ride to work because it might rain, well if it is not raining when I leave I am good, get wet coming home, I can dry my uniform and it is clean for the next day. So not any fair weather riders here......

I live up north where there is snow at least 4 month of the year, I still manage to do easily over 25 000 km a year on my bike. Knowing that the U.S. department of census says that the 4 900 000 U.S. motorcyclist only average  1 943 miles a year!!!! I'm far from being ashamed! It's not how long you have to ride man, it's how far you ride !

Rob

I'm sorry, but I won't be able to respond to their Emails.........I'LL BE OUT RIDING!!!!!!  ;)

CDNRatMan

see sort of like rubbing salt into the wounds......but we will be in New Liskheard for the reunion.......I'll give your e mail address out to a lot of Canadian bikers.....so they can talk to you.....

Ratman, 'ol buddy, 'ol pal!  Would I do a thing like that?  Pick on someone who's riding season is already over for the year?

CDNRatMan

PC, I am trying to get a few more members from Canada to join, so please be nice to them for at least a month before you pick on them, most love down south you can pick on them but the ones that live north of me be easy with them...........they might not be as tolerant as I or 49 are.......... ::) :o :P
