Lightweight Cots Perfect for Moto-Campers

I don't know if that would work for me. I bought a self-inflating sleeping pad that raises about 4 inches. This cot doesn't seem to be much higher off the ground. It probably does pack down smaller, but I think I bought my pad for $79 on sale a few years ago.
My issue is I'm feeling to old to spend three or four nights crawling around on my hands and knees in a small tent because I'm certain to find that one rock I didn't clear out before I pitched the tent, and I'll not be able to avoid it the rest of my stay.
I'm going to get a hitch and trailer, probably not as fancy as yours Larry, but I've already got the tent tall enough to stand up in and large cots. I just can't carry everything yet.
This would definitely be ideal for minimal packing-type camping. I wish I would have seen this before I hit that last and final rock with my knee!

I use a pad on top of that cot for a very comfortable nights sleep.  The reason I went to this cot had to do with the weight difference between the typical cot and this one.  My previous cot weighed in a 23 lbs, this one weighs in a almost 4 lbs.  20 lb reduction in gear weight without any loss of comfort is a big weight savings for me.

I've gotta say, I've always been a fan of minimalist camping, but these days a cot sounds pretty good!

I can appreciate that!!! My "pathfinding" days are past. I appreciate comfort more each year. Spent way too many nights sleeping on the ground to find it very interesting anymore.
