I've said it many times but don't under estimate the comfort of the singh spring seat....I have one on my 800 and also have a corbin and would choose the spring seat over the corbin in a heartbeat for a long ride. And the comfort at low speed is unbeliveable!

Rob

i'll second that. My Singh seat is as comfortable as any I have ridded on.

Can't wait to get it. The Republic of Texas (ROT) rally is coming up soon so I'll have it installed for that. Delighted to hear about the comfort too. I mostly commute with it so very little long haul rides but happy that I won't have to swap it out. I'll be going for as low  a profile installation I can get to keep the low slung look of the factory single. Hope I can make it look "Organic" and intentional.

GB I wish I had money to throw around to buy us all seats , but again I'm just a tree man  ;) Now someone who owns/operates a tire service should have some deep pockets  ::) ;D

That's a common misconception....   Now, yes, I SPEND a lot of money...  insurance, workman  comp, payroll, etc. etc. etc....

Dubliner this seat looks fantastic , really like the leather you chose  8) I'm warning you know these seats are comfortable as hell , at least to me . Then again you talking about a guy who hangs from a saddle all day long cutting tree's ... LOL Glad I was able to lend assistance .

I think you should get one :). For some reason I think the Singh may not be as comfortable as the Corbin or a factory for long rides so I'll keep it to swap out in case but I am infatuated with the Dispatch Rider look of the old saddle. I think I'll have singh make a shaped saddle bag to fit the rear fender profile of the same leather.

D1 is buying seats for us?   Where do I sign up on that list?!??!!     ;D ;)

That really looks great, Dubliner.  I like the indian head on the side, that sets it off.   If I hadn't already purchased a Corbin solo for my 800, I'd be DEFINITELY looking into that!!  Still might, depending on how it mounts up etc....

Thanks to Drifter I have a new saddle & rail heading my way. I'm sure I'll be looking for tips on installation and ideas on how to cover the battery compartment. Here's a few pics.
