There much longer then the stock bars . My cousin has a springer classic with these bars that I had the opportunity to ride . The bars seemed very comfortably positioned for me , let me sit straight up , instead of that slight - slouch forward lean feeling . Actually felt like they added power steering to the bike ... LOL .

Your right GB wish we could sample the bars like fitting a pair of shoes , unfortunately it's trial and error for us , so hope it all pans out . I know what feels right on one brand of bike mat not feel the same on another .

Those are quite a bit longer, eh?  Looks like the new bars put your hands maybe 4-5" behind the current bar's, and turns the grips more inline with the bike.  It would be nice to get a test ride on those before buying.  But that would be hard to do.

WOW a lot longer then the stock bars on the 800. Not sure I would like them.

GB here are some pictures of the bars placed on top of the 800 bars and as close as I could get them for the 1500 without moving the mirrors . As you can see these are considerably longer bars . When I first bought them , and my seat was still installed on the bike , I placed them on top of the bars just to get a feel and I really liked the positioning were they laid . I have this mod on the  2015 winter list . Oh and yes the protective tubing is still on the bars so not to scratch  :o

HHHHMMMMM I would have loved to see the pics myself  ::) I do have the new bars here in the basement ( long horns ) I'm going to be putting on the 1500 for 2014/2015 winter . I'll take a pic of them on top of the stock bars for ya'll tomorrow . It's a HUGE difference .

Did I miss those pictures somehow?   I'm thinking of new bars or risers, and was doing some research....

I just installed a set of Flanders 1" part number 650-08783 cruzer star H bars. 9" height, 18.5" pullback, 33" wide with an 8.5" center. I am 5'9" and I can lean back rather than stretching to reach stock bars now. Had to reroute cables but none had to be replaced with longer ones. I will be getting longer throttle cables though as they get all over the tank when you crank the bars to the right. Once I get the cables and neaten up the rerouting it's gonna be purty sweet  ;D

You got pics of those bars??   PastorDude always said if there ain't no pictures, it didn't happen... ;D

@ D1 - Those badges are still available from the dealer. I just recently bought a set, they are 1999 1500 Drifter badges.
