Jmbo.......I copied a pic of your color scheme.....love it! So much so that I'm thinking of doing the same with mine when I decide to paint.........if I do.............I like Pearl White tho, so I might do Red and White rather than Black and White

Ok, so we've had like 6-7 degrees celcius up until recently and I thought that autumn would pass straight into spring, but it wasnt to be. Right now it's snowing with some -5 degrees and I can just sit here and wait it out; my bike is in storage since I live in a flat/apartment and don't have a garage of my own...sucks...

Talking of nothing: has anyone tried that Plasti Dip thingie? I've always wanted a blood red bike...

I give my bike a blanket and I try to cuddle with it.  :-* :-* Haha just kidding. Honestly, I'll try to work on the bike. I'll wipe it down, clean up the engine, try to do some general maintenance just to keep it fresh.

Awesome colour combination and looks really good, now for the wet sanding and the looking for imperfections that only you will see...have fun......

Here's the tank and side covers.  Paint is a little soft yet.  Next color sand and clear coat.

Looking forward to the finished product! Ya gotta admire folks with talents like that. Personally, I hate paining; would rather build stuff for others to paint.... :D

So far so good. Laid the black down.  Except for a few gray beard hairs that manage to flood into the paint, things look pretty good.  Let 'er dry up for the night than mask it for the red.

World of wheels is Feb 21 to 23 in Brew Town. Come on down and we'll blow the froth off a couple.

Like ratman I wheel the scoot into the basement ( man cave ) and do all my mods while staying warm and rather listen to tunes or watch the ( as my grand parents would say ) boob tube .

Jmbo can't wait to see the new paint job and hope all plays out well to make the show  ;)

I just sit in the living room and polish it or sit on it and watch Trolls vids......not a big deal been dealing with those temps for a month now almost.......

The heck with the cold weather. I'm painting the bike today. Tank stripped and primed. Fenders and side covers primed. Silver colored stripe laid down. Black goes on today. Red and clear go on tomorrow. New WWs are here. Hope to get it back in one piece by the weekend. Plan to have it in the Milwaukee World of Wheels show in Feb.
