I think the color list covers both bikes, for now.  Of course, who knows a year from now I might have a whole new list!   But for now, if I was painting both of them (which I'm not) I would do both from the list.

Ratman, I thought about same or opposite color scheme, but I think I'd like them different colors better.

Right now I'm thinking about reserving a truly "vintage" color for the 800, like olive green and ivory, lets say, and maybe going something like Red/Pearl or Blue/Pearl for the 1500.    I guess I'll have to make up my mind or leave it alone.

       Well Mr. GB you can paint them both the same and have a big one and a little one, or paint them complete opposite colours or inverted colours.....it might be really fun.......

Sound like it's narrowed down to me GB  Now are these colors just for the 1500 and there's a WHOLE nother list for the 800

No, not exactly.  I've kind of got it narrowed down, though.  I'm pretty sure I want one of the colors to be ivory/pearl.  For the second color, still trying to decide between (in no particular order) :  1) olive/sage/seafoam green, 2) teal/turquoise 3) darker green, like 'hunter' green, 4) med-dark yellow 5) orange/rust,  6) something in the red family ranging from dark to bright red 7) dark metallic blue.  ...   Pretty narrow, isn't it??   

To complicate matters, I would also like to paint the 800 someday - maybe next winter - and of course it wants  be 2-tone as well, so I've got to keep hat in the back of my mind as well.

I'm going to try go get some pic files together this weekend and get with my paint guy soon.
