I haven't tried the backrest up front yet on this one.  I like it there on the 800, so I'm sure it will be a plus on this one too.

Real nice GB...and that speedo sure is pretty with a full tank of gas.
Did you try moving that backrest up to the driver saddle...or maybe you had a passenger that day.
Give your son a few more years and he will mature into a cruiser.

Glad you got your accessory list met . Petemoss did a great job with the add ons  to the scoot . Road house exhaust and all ... That would be a double plus in my book ...LOL . I'm not sure I would change anything on the scoot GB except the routine maintenance fluids . If anything maybe a couple additional add ons to personalize it . Maybe change out that exhaust  for me to take off your hands  . Hey glad to see you let Chili sit on your ride were's the pic of you on his new Harley

Well, after looking for many months, I finally bought a new-to-me 1500 Drifter.  I finally got that WHITE speedo dial I always wanted.  That was, actually, one of the big things on my "pro's" list a couple years ago when I started shopping for a Drifter.  However, I ended up with the 800 first, and now I've found the bike that has all the "major" accessories that I wanted.   Amazingly, after months of shopping on the internet, this one showed up in my email "You want to buy my bike??" and it was only 50 miles away.   You've seen the bike on this board before, as I bought it from fellow VDR Brother Petemoss.  I think I got a heck of a deal, since it's got the Corbin seat, light bar, windshield, bags, Roadhouse pipe, folding rear floorboards, and 20,000 miles.  These were on my "Want" list, and what I consider the expensive stuff to add later.  Lots of other goodies too.

Well, it rained 3-4 inches this weekend, and washed away all of the snow, and all of the road salt, and it got up to 53F today, so I thought it was a perfect day for a ride.  A little chilly and a little windy, as I didn't put the windshield back on, but it was great.  The seating position on the 1500 is quite a bit different than the 800.  Lower, seems like your feet are up higher or out in front of you more.

It's a great ride, though.  I think I'm going to like it! Now the fun begins, making it my own creation...    I think customizing them is about as much fun as riding them!        The attached pictures show the newly formed lake across the road from my house - the result of so much rain!
