I had no clue it mounted off the shock. Makes total sense now.
OK, I don't get too many Mensa applications in the mail, but jeeze, I'm not THAT dense!

Also got a luggage rack, bag mounts and bags, a horseshoe, crash bar. I'm currently deciding what to keep and what to sell.

Looks like a Drifter seat rail to me. Bolts to the upper shock bolt. You should be able to figure out the other two connection points. Good find...what other parts did you get?

Hi Gang.
Hope one and all are enjoying a great Holiday season!

I picked up a box of parts that had been sitting in a guy's garage. Supposedly they were all from a Drifter 1500. Guy no longer had the bike, so I got some stuff for next to nothing.
The good thing is the one part I really wanted is spot-on perfect.

Included was this solo seat handrail.
Am I missing something? I can't figure out how this thing goes on!
Anyone know if it is from a Drifter?  Not a huge deal if it isn't. I just don't want to sell something without knowing what it really goes to.
