<LOL> I can tell you after half an hour on a sportbike, I am more than pleased to be back on one of my bikes. You are right... my back doesn't hurt... but everything else does!

Actually, hate to burst your bubble, but sportbike seating is not that bad.  I myself have a very bad low back and find riding a sportbike to be much more comfortable than riding long distances on the 1500 Drifter!  It is because the Drifter (and most cruisers) have such an upright seating positiion.  Any bumps you hit travel right up the spine, compounding any pre existing conditions.  But the sport bike seating the bumps stop at the hip joint and never get to the back.

But glad you and your son will be traveling together.  Wish I could afford financially as well as time wise, the time to travel this year.

Hi all , well my son finally got off work for a summer road trip. We will be heading to denver co from jefferson city mo july 15- 25th. If anyone has any great places to stop or would like to meet up along I70 id love to hear from you. I figure we will be stopping alot. my son has a honda cbr 600 so im sure he will be in pain by the time we hit ks. i know im to old to be bent over like that all day. thanks alot, huck
