The oil pressure switch is located on the left rear of the engine, next to the oil filter. Single wire simple switch. Coolant is sensed at the bottom of the thermostat housing. There is an idiot light for temp connected to the bottom radiator tank, but that won't give you accurate engine temp. You can pick up volts virtually anywhere. The big problem with adding instruments is that the original sensors cannot be used for that purpose, and they must remain in the game for everything to work correctly. I can see putting a "T" fitting in the oil sensor, but the coolant sensor has no room around it for extra hardware....

I'm surprised there isn't already some kind of OP sensor on the block.

Gauges can be bought at every motorcycle parts store. For example http://www.jcwhitney.com/classic-series-2-diameter-illuminated-ammeter-oil-pressure-water-temperature-triple-gauge-kits/p2008941.jcwx?skuId=234160&filterid=b1255u0j1

The hard thing is to get the extra sensors mounted for temperature and oil pressure/temperature. For oil you have to drill a hole somewere in the engineblock  :-\ Installation instructions:

Anyone know where I can get a gauge package for volts, oil temp/psi, coolant temp etc.?

Thanks in advance for any information one can provide!
