like mentioned - if you switch over the right side passenger peg support you can use all Classic exhausts.

You can also use MeanStreak exhausts. However you need to be careful which exhaust system you chose from the Meanstreak "menu" as the rear bumper rail on the Drifter can interfere with the pipes as (at least on the OEM set), the bracket which keeps the upper and lower exhaust in line moves a little inwards which rubs against the rail.

You can overcome this by a little 'bending' of the bracket and also some spacing with washers.

Nomad - you need the hangers, either bought or DYI

The  most common one are Long shots, I run Hard Krome headers on mine, They are straight pipes and to most are too loud.

Any exhaust made for a 1500/1600 classic will work with the Drifter by simply replacing the right rear footpeg bracket. Nomad pipes can be made to work with the proper hangers.

OK here is a question I'm sure this has gone around but not really been compiled list wise.
can anyone possably help me out ad maybe the forum in compiling a list of compatible exhaust that works for the Drifter 1500's.
i just noticed a fellow that had a set of meanstreak exhaust on his bike but i don't know if any meanstreak exhaust will fit and if so what minor mods need to be done??
and I've heard some say classics's exhaust will work as well with some minor hanger mods.
a list similar to the spark plug lists etc would be awesome for the mods page as it would allow us to settle on a exhaust system that will fit without having to ask all over the forum lol
maybe a list of straight up stock fitment, ones with minor mods, what those mods maybe and maybe even if the exhaust has baffles or no baffles and if they are mild , loud or extreme lol.
