No pressure in the recovery bottle, it vents to atmosphere..but there isn't a lot of space under the right side cover, and the bottle is designed to fit in there precisely and it has a little tail that sticks out under the edge of the cover so you can check the level without removing anything.

I seen bike that have jack Daniel bottles and such replace the stock resovoir... Can this be done on the drifter 1500?
