Just got a 2004 800 drifter. I want to do a complete tune up and fluids. Can anyone give me some info on what and how to do. Thanks

If it has a halogen headlight, don't forget to check the halogen fluid. There should be a little dipstick on the back of the headlight. 

Good thing he didn't get a 1500.  We have to check the blinker fluid every 1200 miles.

The owner's manual has a section on periodic maintenance. Follow that, and you can't go too far wrong. Plugs and oil/filters are the big things, here. Depending on mileage, a valve lash adjustment may be needed.

  Well I would first off need to know the mileage. Then I would do the following for sure, check the wear and tear on the sprockets and chain, adjust as required. Check the tires and the pressure in them. Oil change might be a good idea unless you know when it was done last time. I would check the colour of the brake fluids and then decide if it needed changing. Check the rad levels and hoses for any issues, check and clean the air filter, grease the mono shock and swing arm. Most is just normal maintenance so you should be good for that . Understanding you live in Florida and do not have down time like me so I can not really tell you what to do, I do all my maintenance during the winter.
