Tank question

You know what, ANYTHING is possible. Whether or not its practical is a different story. IF you can fab stuff like brackets and you want to deal with moving around electrical stuff, gages and hoses - you likely can do exactly what you want.

   ok so here is my dumb a$$ question brought on by lack of sleep, just being plain tired.
So the Drifter 800 has a 15 liter fuel tank. If I was to find a tank that could / would mount in its place, that was from a carb'ed engine, like a 1500 or a Vulcan 900 I could get from 16 to 20 liters. What would I need to know and do. Or is it do able, or should I just get a good night sleep and forget the idea. Thanks...
