sound from right engine cover

It takes a little getting used to. I was worried at first, but with almost 80,000 miles on it...nothing has changed. Sometimes it's really quiet, and sometimes it's, well NOT!

ok so i dont know if its just the bike and being a single cam , but it sounds to me like a ticking almost similar to a exhaust manifold leak but a little slapier coming from the right engine cover close to the goat bag. not maybe its just the sound of the bike hence ive heard allot say its a noisy v-twin, and some your tube vids do sound similar.
is this normal to be kinda noisy lifter and cams on this bike? it runs fine an starts fine etc. oild full up and running 93oct.
maybe im just paranoid lol.
