Have any of you tried one of these on any other type of bikes? And do you thing the VN1500 one will work on a 1500 Drifter?

Has anyone installed or came across an electric cruise control for the 1500? Since my accident I can't ride more then 20-25 minutes without needing to bring my right arm down for 30 seconds or so to let the blood flow again. I have a throttle lock on now but it tends to have a mind of it's own and doesn't keep a constant speed. which i know it's not designed to do anyway. If anyone as any suggestions on a good aftermarket cruise control that can be installed on a Drifter 1500 i would love to hear about it.
