Thanks for posting the pic.

It looks just like yours with the exception of the regulator having been moved to the front.

My '99 1500 has a screw there.

Just a screw? Does the bike look like mine (in that area)?

Ok, can anyone tell me which other models / years covers are compatible with a '99 Drifter?

Yes you are missing a screw and a corrigated black metal cover that is about the same length as you floorboard..

John.

I was wrong I just cleaned my bike after a muddy ride and noticed I have the same screw hole, then I looked at your top whole bike photo and saw that you already have the black cover that I have..

John.

Here's what I'm talking about....not necessarily this one, but this is what you need if you want to add the cover.

This one has some wear on it, so the price is pretty low. These go for A LOT when they are perfect...

The parts you need show up on eBay now and then...If you buy it that way, be sure you get the bolts with it...they are not just every day hardware. It's not just chrome, but rather a cover assy. that hides all the busyness on the left side.

Thanks!

So, if I understood this right, I could potentially add more chrome!  ;D 8)

I think it's one of the tapped holes that would normally hold the left side chrome cover that the classics and Nomads have. There are 4 of them. The cover you do have occupies 2 of them, and the last one is down near the footboard.

So I'm wondering if I'm missing a screw on this side of the motorycle. Big shot below, closeup even lower.

Should I plug this hole?
