Thanks for the link. But I don't reaaly like the parts that stays on the bike, and it seem a bit of an overkill. I think I will have a simple straight bar made that screws on the two bolt of the seat bracket. Since I won't use the seat bracket it will be quite easy to remove and install, I could even use wingnut. Too bad Osprey cease production maybe if a few of us needed a set they could produce a small batch, in the meantime back to the drawing board!

Looks like they would work, and be quick on/off, not leaving much hardware on the bike when the bag is off.

You ought to read the caution on the vendor review page on Scoot, though.  I used them last year with no issues, but others evidently have had problems.

Osprey needs to update their homepage, me thinks...their 800 and 1500 saddle bag mounts are still up on their page, including price tag and all...

In any case, I found some alternative brackets from Scootworks. Will these do? http://www.scootworks.com/shop.cgi/page=partskawsaddle.htm/SID=PUT_SID_HERE (scroll down to end of page)

I was planning on buying a set of those to replace the original one I had on my 1999 that are now for sale in the classified, since I'm going to a solo seat. I contacted Osprey but they told me they were not making those anymore! Anybody got a set to trace the shape, or want to exchange those with mine?

Thanks!
