This is an old question. There is a 1/2" hose behind your air cleaner backing plate on the right side of the bike. Tale off the cover on the right side and stick a plug in that hose.   http://www.vulcandrifterriders.com/forum/index.php?topic=1636.msg7408#msg7408

Oh I see... Well how do I stop the backfiring from coming out I my straight pipes? Sometimes when let go of the throttle it's sounds like a gun firing... It doesn't always happen but it's not uncommon either... I usually pull the clutch when letting go of the throttle as to be polite cause it sometimes makes a popping sound...

Troll

The 800 has one carb, the 1500 has ZERO....

10-4 so there are no carbs in a fuel injected bike?

Troll

1500s are fuel injected.....I don't know as I'd trust somebody who gave you that advice.

Someone said I have to rejet my carbs cause it seems my fuel/air mixture is off...
Not too sure... Any ideas? Thanks.
